Coming from Lisbon the route would be A1 Norte ,then the A23 to Tomar carrying on to Alvaiazere

From Porto the route would be A1 Sud to Coimbra and then choose to say on the Autostrada to Pombal, Ansiao, Alvaiazere or to come across country from Condeixa down to Ansiao then Alvaiazere.

The red star on the Alvaiazere map denotes the two banks on the main road, and you leave on the N350  then 2nd left N522 to Macas de Caminho then N1102 to Carregal

Maps by Google Maps (Aerial View) and Mapquest. Checking out your route on either is very good ,even down to the last few hundred yards, but Mapquest seems to be the only one that actually names Carregal on the map which is  a great help.
